About Me
Developing With a Passion While Exploring The World.
Dr. Sujata Gupta Kedar is a distinguished academician and development professional with over 20 years of impactful experience in teaching, research, counselling, and community engagement. A seasoned trainer and consultant, she has worked with international organisations such as UNICEF, UNDP, and UNFPA, leading transformative programs in reproductive health, nutrition, school health, and behavioural change communication. She began her career in 2000 as a postgraduate lecturer and student counsellor at Delhi Public School, later joining CHETNA as a Research Officer. While completing her PhD in Psychology in 2004, she led key training initiatives for Anganwadi workers and government officials in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, and coordinated a UNDP-supported School Health Programme in Delhi.
Her expertise deepened through her work with the Women’s Resource Centre, Jaipur, where she managed the UNFPA-supported Integrated Population Development Project and evaluated IEC materials for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. She led youth development programs at CECOEDECON, and later served as Senior Program Coordinator at the Centre for Dalit Human Rights. Now based in Bangalore, Dr. Sujata is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Human Development at Mount Carmel College. She is also a PhD guide, programme coordinator, published author, board member, public speaker, and devoted mother of twins.

Educational Psychology examines how psychological principles impact learning and teaching across all educational levels, from early childhood to higher education. Dr. Sujata Gupta Kedar brings over two decades of expertise in education, research, and social development. Her work spans academic guidance, counselling, capacity building, and consulting. She engages with students, educators, parents, NGOs, and institutions through workshops, training, and public speaking, aiming to promote emotional well-being, inclusive education, and lifelong learning in diverse social contexts.
